Thomas Dull

Thomas “Tommy D” Dull, 77, of Selah, WA, passed away peacefully Friday, January 13, 2017, at Cottage in The Meadow in Yakima, surrounded by his family.

Tom was born October 2, 1939 to Fred and Rose Dull in Walla Walla, WA. After school, Tom enlisted in the Air Force for four years. Upon completion of his Active Duty service, Tom made a career in the construction business as a contractor and retired in 1997. Tom fell in love, marrying Arleen in 1997. Tom loved his family, sailing, and traveling. He was a remarkable craftsman and a master at fretwork and intarsia woodworking.

Tom is survived by his wife, Arleen; sisters, Silvia Woods and Sarah “Sally” Nelson; daughters, Penny Arrowood, Machelle Schneider, Neisha Johnson, and Stephanie Meloy; sons, Leland Dull, Thomas Hodgens, Dale Eckley, James Perkins, and Guerry Routh Jr.; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful and attentive staff at Cottage in The Meadow.

A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 18th at the Rainier Memorial Center of Yakima, 2807 Terrace Heights Dr., Yakima, WA 98901. A reception will immediately follow. Arrangements are made by Rainier Memorial Center.
