Boyd Wayne Evans, 75, died on December 1, 2016 in Redmond, WA.
Boyd was born on August 2, 1941 in Ellensburg, WA to Wayne William and Hilma Christine (Fines) Evans.
Boyd graduated from Davis High School. Boyd enjoyed bowling, golf, and was a member of the Masons. He bowled a perfect 300 game several times during his lifetime. Boyd played in many bowling leagues from his 20’s to 50 years old, winning many trophies and awards. He enjoyed gardening/yardwork and had a very green thumb. Boyd was also a fabulous dancer. He was a very gifted, intelligent and talented at anything he attempted to accomplish. During his early retirement, he traveled to China and Asia.
A Prayer For My Dad
Dear God I gratefully thank you for giving me my dad.
You must really love me, ‘cause you gave the best you had.
Watch over him & bless him Lord, and keep him in your care.
And may he feel my love for him, is my humble, heartfelt prayer.

Boyd is survived by his daughter, Danielle Evans and sister, Kaye Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Evans, mother Hilma Greenwood, brother Terry Evans and step-father, William Greenwood.
A graveside inurnment will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, WA. Arrangements are by Rainier Memorial Center of Yakima.
