Zigmund F. Meluskey, 77, of Yakima, Washington, passed away, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home.
A celebration of life open house will be held at 4 pm - 8 pm, Saturday, June 23 at 1428 S. 68th Avenue, Yakima, Washington 98908.
Zigmund was born December 31, 1940 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Zigmund W. and Francis (Skrivanek) Meluskey. He graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1960. He retired from the local 370 Operator’s Union. He helped build the third powerhouse of the Grand Coulee Dam. He worked currently for the West Valley School District.
Zigmund is survived by his three sons, Zigmund W. Meluskey and his wife Tamara of Greenwood, IN, Michael Meluskey and his wife Christy of Yakima, WA, and Mark Meluskey of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren: Jacob, Austin and Grace Meluskey and Shane and Danielle Lemieux; sisters Sandy Meluskey, Barbara and husband Larry Schaber, sister-in-law Billy Meluskey, nephew Mitch Meluskey, and several nieces and nephews.
