On 6/29/2018 after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease Robert passed away.
Born April 13th 1955 in Houston, TX to Robert “Bud”and Betty Korn. The oldest of 3 siblings.
After graduating high school Robert left on an adventure with his best friend Kevin Coplin to explore the mountains. They continued until they came to Washington State and decided to put their roots down there so they could continue to explore the mountains.
Not only did Robert enjoy hiking, backpacking, climbing and cross country skiing, he was an avid cyclist. His passion was learning the culinary arts. Robert worked his way to eventually becoming an executive chef for the Seattle Downtown Hilton.
Robert leaves behind a son, Dallas Korn, the family of Mark and Paula Felman, his dear friend Philip Strickland who visited Robert often and many very close friends some of whom he recently was reunited with from Texas.
We want to thank Riverview Manor and Astria Hospice for such love and compassion for Robert.
