Jane R. Grandberg Frost passed away peacefully August 30, 2018 at Living Care Nursing Facility at the young age of 94 after a short battle with cancer.
Jane was the only child born of Clarence W. Grandberg and Ethelyn Rambeau. She was born on July 28, 1924, in Yakima, WA. She attended school in Grand Coulee, WA and graduated from Yakima High School (Davis) in 1942. She married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Frost on August 1, 1942.
Her proudest moments were the birth of her sons, Terry in 1947 and Rick in 1953. She modeled for the Bon Marche and worked as a Dental Assistant in Yakima for over 30 years.
Jane loved to travel, dance, paint and sew. Jane was a loving, caring and generous woman. She was very intelligent with a great sense of humor. During her life, she acquired many wonderful friends and acquaintances. She had a special bond with many but none closer than her friendships with Carolyn Tyrrell, Lylah Deford, Sally Gassaway, Betsy Coomer, Lois Schapp and Susie Burns. She cherished her close friendships with the Lunch Bunch, The Dentistry Girls, the Friends and Neighbors at Cascade Villa and many more. But none surpassed the love she had for her companion and fur baby King Tut. You were number 1.
Jane is survived by her cat King Tut and many friends too numerous to mention.
Jane was predeceased by her parents, her husband Kenny, her sons Terry and Rick, and her grandson Mark.
We will miss your style and grace, wisdom and courage and your beautiful smile. Most of all, we will miss your love.
You are now finally home.
