Jeri peacefully returned home to our Lord on September 8, 2018. She was born on April 15, 1947 in Ava, MO, lucky #13 of 15 children to James and Alice (King) Driskell.
After moving around the country, the family settled in Yakima where she graduated from A.C. Davis High School in 1965.
Shortly after graduation she married her high school sweetheart Dennis Ellsworth and began a family, a son Curtis and a daughter Shelli.
Jeri was known for her generosity and her jams, cobblers and canned goods. She shared her goodies but always had extra when some one was in need. She often took a jar of jam in to her favorite place to meet her friends for coffee each morning after she retired. She cherished the friendships with the waitresses and patrons, passing innumerable hours talking and laughing the mornings away.
She loved to camp with family, spending many hours reading by the campfire. However her greatest joy were her grandchildren, Jordan, Cameo and Austin. She spent much of their youth lovingly teaching them how to cook or can. She took great pride in her garden and taught them all her secrets. Each one has special memories of her captured by her artistic talents in the art and craft items she did with them and for them.
Jeri is survived by her husband, Dennis; a son, Curtis; a daughter, Shelli and son-in-law Ronald Wilburn; three grandchildren, Jordan Ellsworth, Cameo and Austin Wilburn; two brothers and two sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeri was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and two sisters.
The family is having a private service and asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to your favorite service charity.
