Kenneth M. Lydin passed away late Sunday after complications from a fall. His family tried so hard to help him. He was their rock. Ken enjoyed a good life, from his birth in Ferintosh, Alberta, to his passing in Yakima, WA. Ken was a hardworking man dedicated to his first and second family. After serving in the Army, he was employed by Cascade Natural Gas Company, retiring as superintendant after 35 years. He loved his little farm. It sparkled because of his constant efforts. He leaves his sister, Bernice Bull of B.C., Canada, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his two sons, Jeff (Patty) and Greg Lydin, many grand and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and “cat.” He was preceded by his parents, five siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nieces.
At Ken’s request there will be no ceremony, just a simple inurnment with immediate family. We miss him.
Memorials will have to do. Cards or letters may be sent to 9500 N. Wenas Road, Selah, WA 98942.
