It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephanie Anne Gronillo, born in Edmonds, WA to parents Paul and Gracie Gronillo. Stephanie was raised in Yakima, WA, where she attended high school, established close relationships and would eventually start her family. She was a vibrant soul whose light shined too briefly but left an impactful mark on all who knew her. Stephanie, a proud mother of four, passed away at the age of 37, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and boundless generosity.
Stephanie’s laugh was a symphony of joy, distinct and infectious, capable of brightening even the darkest of days. Her smile, radiant and warm, had the unique ability to illuminate any room and lift spirits with its sheer brilliance. A natural magnet for friends and family alike, Stephanie's presence was a gift that drew people in and made them feel seen, heard, and cherished.
Known for her spontaneous spirit, Stephanie approached life with an unfiltered enthusiasm and an open heart. Even when she had nothing, she gave freely, offering her kindness and support without hesitation. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her willingness to share what little she had was a testament to her extraordinary character.
Stephanie's passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. We find comfort in remembering her as the spontaneous, kind-hearted, and radiant person who made the world a brighter place. Though she was taken from us far too soon, her legacy of love and laughter will live on through her children and loved ones.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved children, Ariana, Elijah, Isaac and Giovanni, her loving parents, Gracie and Paul Gronillo, brothers, Paul Alexes (Veronica) Gronillo and Rocky Andaverde and her cherished family, which includes numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Dorothy Meza and Virginia Johnson.
A memorial service to celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 10th at Rainier Memorial Center at 2807 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima, WA 98901, where we will gather to honor her memory. Services will begin at 2:00pm and end at 3:00pm.
