It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister Danielle Marie Carlson. She passed away on October 2, 2024 at her home. She was born on January 7, 1991 in Toppenish, Wa to Christopher and Julia Sotelo. She was 33.
Danielle was a beautiful devoted and loving person. Danielle had a great smile, and kind soul. She was outspoken no matter where she was or who she was around. Danielle loved animals and always had several pets. Her family, friends, and her children were the most important things in her life. She loved all children and took many of them into her home raising them as her own. Danielle loved being around people and listening to music. She always liked to go for drives, which led to some amazing adventures. Danielle was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, no other team was better in her eyes. She enjoyed all Mexican food, strawberry ice cream, and steak. Danielle always tried to see the best in people. If she noticed you were not having a good day she would try her hardest to make you smile. She loved Marilyn Monroe, shopping, Bar B Ques, camping, going to the YMCA with her son and going to the park. Danielle was loved by all who knew her.
Danielle is survived by her parents Julia Blackburn & Christopher Sotelo Sr., her spouse Timothy Carlson, her children Nikita and Kenai her siblings, Nicole Sotelo, Christopher Sotelo Jr, Angela Sotelo, Kristen Sotelo, Amber Rowley, Justin Rowley, Christopher Pettit, Tina Blackburn, David Blackburn. Danielle's nieces and nephews are Aden, Brianna, Alex, Allison, Bella, Ernest. Danielle's cousins are Angela, Tasha, Hector (Nuni) Noah, Cecilia, Ryan, Austin, Wyatt, Mystori, and many more. Danielle was predeceased by: Aunt Tammy and Lenard Cohenour, Grandma and Grandpa Blackburn, who she loved them so deeply
