Melisa Cady unexpectedly passed away on December 20, 2024, in her home. She was born in Yakima, WA on August 11th, 1977, to Jay and Kathy Cady.
Melisa enjoyed spending time with her friend's family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to go on drives and little adventures, as she would call them. She worked for AMPM for many years and took pride in making a difference within the downtown community. Melisa never judged or turned anyone away and if she could, she would give the sweater off her back. She treated everyone as a human being no matter their past present or habits. Many times, helping the homeless with food to fill their bellies and drinks to keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Whenever she was in the room, she would make you smile or laugh whether it be from her kindness or her dry sense of humor.
Melisa is survived by her father Jay, Stepmother Andrea; two daughters, Sapphire and Rocky, Adriana and Amen; grandchildren - Alexander, Madyson, and Gabriella, Ryder, and Harper; Two Sisters, Shawnee and Jacob, Ciara and Tyler; Brothers Brandon and Michael and Shireen. She also had many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Melisa is preceded in death by her mother Kathy Cady and granddaughter Jozlynn Webber.
The family will hold a Celebration of life in Memory of Melisa Cady at a later date.
